Welcome to Bratt Elementary School! 

Our school is committed to helping our children continually grow academically while learning to be leader in the school and community. I am eager to continue to build relationships with our students, families, and community leaders.  It is my priority to provide a learning environment for our students that is safe, engaging, and student-centered. 

Prior to joining the Bratt Elementary family, I served as an educator for almost 26 years in Monroe County, Alabama. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Troy State University in 1995. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Alabama State University and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Auburn University in Montgomery. During my time in education, I have developed my skills by serving as a classroom teacher, secondary assistant principal, district curriculum director, and elementary school principal. I also participated in training through the Council for Leaders in Alabama School to become a Certified Instructional Leader. 

It is an honor to serve the children and families of Bratt and the surrounding communities. I look forward to continuing our work together to provide an outstanding educational experience for our students.
